Product description Explore the night using the compact and water-resistant Sentry 2x Digital Night Vision Monocular from Night Optics. With a digital ¼" CMOS sensor and a 330 x 224 LED display, you obtain detailed color images during both day and night. To enable operation in complete darkness, the device also features an 850nm infrared illuminator with variable output. Compared to NVDs with intensifying tubes, the digital night vision sensor has nearly unlimited lifetime and unparalleled resistance to bright light. You don't have to worry about accidentally exposing it to daylight and burning it. With this device you get a notable 2x close-up, a 6.4° angular field of view, and a shorter-than-average minimum focus distance of 2.25'. The eyepiece has a diopter adjustment for fine-tuning image sharpness and a wide rubber eyecup to allow you to get a comfortable fit between the eyepiece and the orbit of your eye. The PVS-14-inspired housing design allows you to use it in similar fashion as traditional PVS-14 night vision devices. The included mounts allow you to mount on headgear or a weapon. The housing also ensures water-resistant performance and flawless operation in extreme temperatures. Among many included items are two AA batteries and a storage pouch. - Optical Performance
