Product description Explore the night with the xGenPro 3-6x Digital Night Vision Monocular from Night Owl Optics. With this versatile and compact night vision device, you can greatly enhance your hobbies and activities and use it for wildlife observations, fishing, boating, camping, or hunting at night. The monocular features a digital night vision sensor, which provides black and white images and has inherent immunity to bright light and daylight. This means that unlike intensifier tube devices, you don't have to worry about accidentally exposing it to bright light while it is on — thus, the sensor will not be damaged. While the optical system offers 3-6x of combined optical and digital magnification that offers a significant close-up with a 7° field of view, the 3.3' minimum focusing distance allows you to observe objects or animals at a very close range. To help you to extend a range or to cast extra light in complete darkness, the monocular also features a built-in infrared illuminator with three brightness settings and a status indicator. To adjust image brightness to your liking, the control menu also offers an adjustable gain. The electronics empowers you with means of controlling exposure time by selecting a frame rate: 25, 15, and 8 fps. The higher the frame rate, the shorter the effective exposure time. To save battery life on your trip, the monocular is also outfitted with an automatic off function that deactivates the device after 10 minutes of inactivity. Weighing only 12.5 oz without the batteries, the monocular offers no excuses to be left at home. The housing is made of lightweight polymer with a rubberized armoring for a sure grip and a comfortable rubber eyecup. Its compact and ergonomic design provides a comfortable holding experience using only one hand. - Sensor, Display, Illuminator
