Product description Designed for the Nikon 1 series cameras, the black Nikon 1 SB-N7 Speedlight maintains the camera's compact, well-balanced design, mounting right onto the camera's hot shoe and using Nikon's i-TTL system. With a guide number of 59' at ISO 100, the SB-N7 Speedlight delivers significant lighting power in a small package. Use it as a fill flash to highlight the subtle details of well-lit subjects, even from a distance, or power through a heavily backlit portrait with ease.
The flash head tilts 120° so you can direct the light exactly where you want it: whether that is straight ahead, straight up, backward, or anywhere in-between. It features a coverage angle of 10mm with CX-format cameras and it comes with a wide-flash adapter panel to uniformly spread the flash for use with wide 6.7mm lenses.
When you need more light in a dimly lit interior, or need to fill in the shadows of a backlit portrait, the SB-N7 provides the power and versatility you need for your Nikon 1 series mirrorless camera. It features slow, first and second curtain sync modes for more creative lighting effects. The unit also runs on just 2 AAA batteries with a recycle time of 3.5-30 seconds and comes with a soft case. - Guide number at ISO 100 measures 59', or 33' with wide-flash adapter
- Effective flash range of 2-66'
- Flash-ready indicator light
- Flash head tilts up to 120° with click-stops at 60°, 75°, 90°, and 120°
- Thermal cut-out prevents damage from overheating
- Firmware updates possible through camera body
