Its environmentally friendly lead- and arsenic-free Eco-glass is fully multi-coated to maximize light transmission and improve contrast, clarity, and color fidelity. Complementing the lenses are phase-corrected roof prisms that have been further treated with highly reflective mirror coatings to eliminate internal interference and minimize light loss. The combination of glass and optical coatings produces high-contrast views that are bright and clear, with accurate colors across the entire field of view.This ProStaff features a strong and lightweight fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate resin body, which further makes it easy to pack and carry, and weighing in at less than a pound, you will experience less fatigue while holding it up to your eyes compared with larger models made with a metal chassis. To withstand the elements wherever you use it, the housing is O-ring sealed, allowing the binocular to be submersed to 3.3' for up to 10 minutes, and is nitrogen filled for fogproof performance.
