You can shoot up to 230 images on a single set of the included AA Alkaline batteries. The oversized 1.8" LCD screen and updated interface can be viewed as icons or as a list, making the camera even easier to use than previous models - and if you get confused, just hit the Help Button - It will explain the function in the main menu.
