Product description The Nikon Coolpix S200 Digital Camera combines 7.1 effective megapixels of image resolution with an impressive 38-114mm 3x Zoom-Nikkor lens. This enables it to faithfully capture all of the detail from the closest portrait to the broadest panorama. Unique Nikon innovations make it possible to manipulate the images in-camera in order to achieve professional results. Face-priority AF detects people's faces to achieve sharp focus on the face, no matter where they happen to be located in the frame. In-Camera Red-Eye Fix provides more flattering, natural-looking portraits in low light. The D-Lighting function improves underexposed images or shots taken with too much back-light, leaving well-exposed areas untouched. The Electronic Vibration Reduction function compensates for camera shake and delivers clear pictures even in unsteady conditions. In combination with the High-Sensitivity mode with a ISO 1000 sensitivity, you will also be able to take quality photographs in fairly low light conditions. The stylish and compact aluminum body of the S200 exhibits state-of-the-art craftsmanship, blending an attractive design with the latest digital photography features. The resulting images can be enjoyed with friends on the ample 2.5-inch LCD screen, which also allows for easy navigation of the intuitive and adjustable interface. Included with the S200 is Nikon's exclusive PictureProject software. - Nikon In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, D-Lighting, and Face-Priority AF
- The Red-Eye Fix system automatically corrects for most instances of the red-eye effect that is commonly caused by the use of a built-in flash on a compact camera. The D-Lighting feature can rescue underexposed images or shots taken with too much backlight by automatically brightening the dark areas in the picture, while maintaining the brighter areas of the image. The Face-Priority AF system automatically detects and achieves sharp focus on people's faces wherever they are in the frame for crisp, sharp portraits.

- The Auto Image Rotation feature detects pictures that have been taken with the camera held vertically and automatically rotates the image for in-camera LCD playback.
- Nikon In-Camera Innovations
- The Nikon Coolpix S200 includes a number of in camera innovations in addition to what has been described above, including the following features. In-Camera Cropping allows you to crop out the part of the image you don't want and keep the part you like. Saturation Mode allows you to control the color saturation. Blur Warning alerts you to a blurry image. Noise Reduction Mode minimizes digital artifacts in long exposures. Voice Memo Function records up to 20 seconds of sound that can then be attached to an image. Best Shot Selector enables the camera to take a series of photos and automatically select the one with the sharpest focus. Date and Time Imprinting is available to document the exact time and date that your photo is taken.
