The image quality of this scanner easily rivals that of drum scanners without the complexity or cost usually associated with drum scanners. The Nikon SuperCoolscan 8000 ED is ideal for service beaureaus, magazine publishers, prepress shops and discerning photography professionals. The Nikon SuperCoolscan 8000 ED is also very versatile with holders availble for 35mm films and slides, 120/220 films and slides, 16mm motion picture film, and medical slides. The New Digital ICE3 image system will enhance your productivity by automating dust & scratch removeal, Color management & reconstruction, and Grain equalization. These common functions necessary for any prepress or publishing applications are now easly done by the scanner, minimizing (or even eliminating) necessary post-scan manipulation and saving production time. - Muliple film format (120/220, 35mm, 16mm, and Microscope)
