Product description Capture detailed wide-angle images of coral reefs, caves, shipwrecks, and more at underwater depths as great as 200', thanks to this Nimar Dome Port for the Canon EF 24mm f/1.4L II USM Lens. The clear, dome-shaped front element magnifies images to a lesser degree than a flat port does, and corrects for the underwater size distortion that makes everything appear 25% larger and closer--thereby helping to restore the 24mm's wide angle of view.
The front element is crafted from crystal optical glass for a high degree of clarity, while the body is made from durable, black Delrin acetal resin. This port is designed to be used on Nimar's traditional underwater housings for Canon DSLR cameras, and is attached via the bayonet mount. Petal-like scalloped edges on the front end serve as a built-in hood, offering enough coverage to block stray light from entering the lens and also protecting the dome port against light impact. - Lens Compatibility
