Product description You can capture beautiful photos and videos at 197' beneath the surface with your Canon EOS 4000D DSLR camera, thanks to this dedicated Nimar Underwater Housing. It features a moisture alarm that alerts you right away in the unlikely event of a breach in the waterproof seal. A manual 5-pin bulkhead connector enables the attachment of optional external strobes via sync cords. The housing is fitted with a vacuum port, so you can use a separately sold Manual Vacuum System to check the integrity of the seal before your dive.
Mechanical push buttons, dials, and a lever allow you to control the vast majority of camera functions. Ergonomic side grips improve balance and handling underwater, while providing T-mounts for optional lighting arms, and a removable eyepiece offers an enhanced view through the camera's optical finder. The housing ships without a required lens port, and its NIM-108 mount accepts interchangeable flat and dome ports for various lenses. For full compatibility details, see the port chart.
Built for durability, the housing is constructed from corrosion-resistant Bayer Makrolon polycarbonate. The front, top, bottom and sides are white and the back is clear so you can monitor the O-ring seal and maintain a nearly full view of the camera. - Construction Details
