Product description The Nisha Bay 1 Green Filter can be used to increase image contrast between green-colored subjects versus red-colored subjects when photographing using a film camera system with black-and-white film installed. Additionally, various hues among green-colored subjects can be effectively separated into black-and-white tones. When using this filter, wavelengths of visible light that are apparent as red and violet colors to the human eye are suppressed, while visible light associated with green, yellow, orange and blue colors are able to more easily pass though the Nisha Bay 1 Green Filter and into the lens it is mounted in front of. When photographing with this filter along with black-and-white film, red and violet-colored subjects within a scene are reproduced in darker shades of gray than if a filter was not used. Simultaneously, green, yellow, orange, and blue subjects are rendered in lighter shades of gray. When applied to black-and-white photography, shades of green within foliage can be discerned, skies become lightened while clouds are made less distinguishable, and the appearance of freckles or any skin pigmentation is intensified. - Increases image contrast when photographing using a film camera system with black-and-white film installed
