Product description Enhance the quality of your aerial photography and videography with this Lens Filter Kit for DJI Mavic Air from NiSi. This kit includes six different filters for your Mavic Air gimbal lens. You get a circular polarizer (CPL), natural night, and four IR ND (infrared neutral density) filters. They are designed to fit snugly over the existing Mavic Air lens and feature a nano coating that is engineered to help each filter withstand the rigors of shooting on location. Each filter has its place in the included plastic case, which lets you easily store and transport them safely in your gear bag. - Natural Night Filter
- The natural night filter is designed to block light wavelengths from common sources of light pollution. This is ideal for night and astrophotography, in that it gives your photos a more natural and realistic look.
- IR ND Filters
- The IR ND filters combine the properties and capabilities of an infrared filter and neutral density filter into a single lens covering. This kit gives you four—an IR ND4, IR ND8, IR ND16, and IR ND32. The infrared aspect of the filter gives them the ability to block infrared light from hitting the camera lens. Infrared rays have the potential of spoiling footage by causing a red/brown coloring to appear in your content.
The neutral density properties of each filter allow you to manually manage the exposure by reducing the amount of light that enters the camera lens. When doing so, this allows you to shoot in wider f-stops under bright lighting conditions. Below is the approximate amount of light that's reduced and the ideal circumstance for using each one:
IR ND4: Reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 2 stops. Ideal for capturing clear footage during cloud and overcast days.
IR ND8: Reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 3 stops. Ideal choice for days that are slightly cloudy.
IR ND16: Reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 4 stops. Ideal for shooting in normal, bright daylight conditions.
IR ND32: Reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 5 stops. Ideal for shooting in extremely bright, sunlit conditions. - CPL Filter
- The CPL or Circular Polarizer filter is mainly designed to reduce scattered light and the appearance of reflections in your images. It also can enhance color and increase the contrast of your footage.
- Easy Installation
- When attaching each lens filter, there's no need to deconstruct or change any aspect of your Mavic Air gimbal. Each filter is designed to fit snugly onto the existing lens of the gimbal camera via foam pressure cuffs.
- Protective Nano Coating
- A protective nano coating has been applied to each lens to help it handle the wear and tear of being handled and flown around in all types of weather. The coating makes each filter waterproof, oil resistant, and scratch resistant.
