Product description Nitecore's black EC4GTS High-Performance Blazing LED Searchlight is manufactured from die-cast 6061-T6 aluminum alloy in two parts: the body and tailcap. Using this method reduces overall weight and size. The unibody design also makes the entire body a heat sink to help regulate the light's temperature—especially at high outputs.Its CREE XHP35 HD LED produces an output range of 1 to 1800 lumens on turbo mode. In addition to the five output intensities, the EC4GTS has a disorienting strobe, SOS distress signal, and signal beacon. The outputs and modes are controlled via two push-button switches on the body, with instant access to the minimum and turbo outputs as well as a lockout function that prevents accidental activation, integrated battery status indicator, and last-mode memory.The aluminum housing has a type III hard anodized finish. Its unibody design and O-ring sealed tailcap provide an IPX8 rating to be waterproof and submersible to 6.6' for up to 30 minutes. A standard 1/4"-20 tripod mount allows use of the EC4GTS as a stationary area light. The tripod mount is found on the light's tailcap, which serves the door to the battery compartment, which stays securely closed by means of a thumbscrew lock. - Performance
