Product description Engineered and purpose-built for high risk industries such as mining, off-shore and underground oil exploration, and the petrochemical and chemical industries, Nitecore's EH1 LED Headlight runs on two factory-installed 18650 batteries that power the primary CREE XP-G2 S3 LED to produce three white-light outputs from a low of 22 lumens up to a max of 260 lumens. Four secondary red LEDs can be used to perform tasks while protecting night or dark-adjusted vision. The red LEDs also have two special strobe modes for increased safety. In the event the user is incapacitated, an SOS distress signal can be activated to automatically cycle through the Morse code sequence, or a location beacon can be used to signal where they are. An intuitive single pushbutton interface makes it easy to use.Since the housing is sealed at the factory, the EH1 is able to maintain an IP68 rating to be dust and waterproof as well as submersible to 10 feet. To charge the batteries, Nitecore employs a magnetic charging system that eliminates the need for an open charging port to keep water, dust, and chemicals out. Their Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) technology monitors the internal temperature and automatically steps down the output to prevent damage due to excessive heat. - Light Performance
