Product description Powered by widely available AA batteries and small enough to fit comfortably in a glove box, the Nitecore Explorer EA42 Compact LED Searchlight offers the output and operating features normally found on bigger lights with premium cells. Five brightness levels with a maximum of 1800 lumens and a runtime as long as 280 hours make the EA42 a good choice for a wide range of professional, recreational and home uses. There's also a flashing beacon, an SOS signal, and a disorienting self-defense strobe. Complementing the compact form factor and multiple output modes, the Explorer flashlight is equipped with a range of construction features that make it both durable and easy to handle, including a hard anodized aluminum head and a flat-sided, anti-roll polycarbonate handle with fat knurling for a secure and comfortable grip. The light's dual side-mounted push-button switches make it easy to control brightness levels, flashing modes and the lockout function, which prevents accidental activation. The light is rated IPX8 water resistant, is submersible to 6.6', and impact resistant to 3.3'. - Light Performance
