Product description Compact and versatile, the yellow Nitecore LA30 Bi-Fuel Portable Camping Lantern will come in handy for more than just camping. You'll be glad you have it if the power goes out or you need to change a tire after dark, and its red light is great for activities like astronomy where you need light but don't want to disrupt your night-adjusted vision. It fits easily in a pocket, backpack, glove compartment or kitchen drawer, and can be recharged via USB or powered by two widely available AA batteries.The LA30 offers low, medium and high white-light brightness settings, a high/low flashing-beacon and SOS signal red light settings. It has a hanging hook and a magnetic base, so you can position it just about anywhere you need it. Its eight LEDs produce white light with a color rendering index (CRI) of more than 90, meaning a color resembling sunlight that reduces eye strain and renders colors accurately. All brightness levels and modes are easy accessible by pressing the single push-button switch.Complementing the light's performance is a lightweight and durable polycarbonate housing, and a translucent diffuser that evenly distributes the light to produce a consistent glow throughout the surface. The lantern is IP66-rated to be dustproof and water-resistant, and impact-resistant to 3.3'. - Light Performance
