Product description The Nitecore LC10 Portable Magnetic Outdoor USB Charger is unique in design because of its slender Micro-USB cable on one end and two gold-plated, magnetic contacts on the other, so the contacts connect to the metallic ends of a battery to charge. Because of the magnetic polarity, the magnetic contacts automatically recognize the positive and negative tips of the battery and protect against reverse-polarity. Also, the charger prevents short circuits and shuts off when the battery is completely full.The LC10 plugs into power sources, such as solar panels, car adaptors, power banks, or laptop computers with a micro-USB input and output port, but can connect to other devices with a lightning connection via the included adaptor. The charger is compatible with most 3.6V and 3.7V cylindrical, rechargeable batteries.Once the charger is connected to the battery, it detects the battery power status and selects the correct charging mode. During the charging or discharging process, the LC10 maintains a constant current of 5V, and it has three red blinking indicators for the status of the battery. The panel where the blinking indicators are located also lights up as a backup light, and on the opposite side, a sensor switch controls the three brightness levels of the sensor and indicator lights. The charger overall is flame retardant and fire resistant because of the PC and ABS material it is made from. Compatibility - Battery Type
