Product description Offering three different light outputs, Nitecore's NU25 USB Rechargeable LED Headlamp is useful for a wide range of purposes. Its main emitter is a Cree XP-G2 S3 LED with four output levels from 1 to 360 lumens. It also has a second, 20-lumen white light with a high Color Rendition Index for tasks like reading that don't need as much candlepower, and a red light that preserves night-acclimated vision for night photography, astronomy or wildlife observation. The main light shines in a wide 100° cone, and the lamp can be tilted 60° to put the beam right where you need it. The lighting program features a total of seven preset constant-on output modes: low, medium, high, and turbo white; auxiliary white, and high and low red. There are also white SOS and location beacon and flashing red modes. Two push-button switches atop the unit also serve as battery power level indicators.The waterproof polycarbonate housing is impact-resistant to five feet and is rated IP66 water-resistant. A rubber cover protects the micro-USB charging port. The lamp's battery charges in two hours, and runtimes range from 30 minutes on turbo to 160 hours on low. If the battery becomes fully drained, the light will still operate if plugged into any USB power supply (more likely as a lantern than a headlamp.) The elastic headband is designed to wick perspiration away from your face. - Light Performance
