Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More The Fanotec RD5 Rotator from Nodal Ninja is a precision crafted rotator for creating precise manually stepped and repeatable pans using still photo cameras. It works with the available Nodal Ninja R1, R10, and RS-1 to create nodal pans. It is ideal for creating high-resolution multi-image mosaics or shooting the same scene using different focal lengths. CNC machined out of aluminum alloy, and anodized for corrosion resistance, it features lubricated bearings that support up to 22 pounds of weight. It also features laser engraved markings in 5° increments for accurate and repeatable rotations.
The RD5 allows you to shoot a full 360° or more of rotation one frame at a time. Five selectable click stop settings provide different increments, and these can be changed on the fly. The included adjustment and locking knobs can be engaged and will not appear in the shot. The RD5 features a 3/8"-16 threaded female mounting hole, and includes a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 bushing for use with supports that have a 1/4"-20 mounting screw. - Laser engraved markings offer precise measurements of the rotator's position.
- The click stops allow you to rotate the RD5 in precise steps. The options are 10, 36, 60, 90, and 120° increments, which create 36, 10, 6, 4, and 3 steps to rotate 360°.
- Supports Nodal Ninja R1, R10, and RS-1, allowing you to create 360° panoramas that cover 180° from horizon to horizon.
