Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More ddzercutrfsbfcydtqruzsxfffuurdayasdtsr The RD16 II Advanced Rotator for Panoramas from Nodal Ninja has a total of 16 different selectable detent intervals, including 3.75-120°. This rotator also has a 62mm foot nadir footprint (diameter), and is best suited for ultra wide fisheye lenses when capturing full 360 x 180° spherical panoramas.
Combining anodized aluminum parts with a lubricated inner ball bearing design, the RD16 II also provides the very precise, fluid rotation required of professional photographers. You can change click stops on-the-fly, which is ideal in time-sensitive situations, which includes shooting high resolution multi-image mosaics, or shooting the same scene at different focal lengths. - For 360 x 180° Spherical & HDR Panoramas
- With precisely machined components, laser engraved markings, and lubricated bearings you can capture full spherical panoramas both quickly and accurately
- 62mm Diameter/Nadir Footprint
- Diameter of 62 mm provides sufficient precision and stability while keeping the nadir footprint small
- 16x Selectable Detent Intervals
- This advanced rotator has 16 different degree stop increments which correspond to a 3.75-120° range of detent intervals. While the detent interval (click-stop) option can also be changed in seconds, some of these specifically require both of the two included plungers, and an included knob locks the rotation into place
- Up to 24lb Supported Weight Capacity
- This rotator supports 24 lb (11 kg) of weight, and is designed for ideally half of that, at 12 lb (5.5 kg)
- Change Detent Interval in Seconds
- As quickly as you can pull one of the two plungers out of a detent interval, you can change the number of stops and degrees at which your rotator will stop
- Laser Engraved Indexing Marks
- High precision lasers were used to engrave the indexing marks on this rotator every 2.5°
- Built-In 3/8"-16 Bottom Thread
- Attach the rotator to any compatible 3/8"-16 screw or adapter, allowing you to use tripods, stands or other stabilization methods
- Designed to mount on lower rail systems of current Nodal Ninjas using anti-twist sockets and M6 female thread with supplied 1/4 hex screw
