Product description The Noga Cine Arm and Cine Locks Kit 2 combines 16x9's upgraded version of Noga's Hold-It Articulating Arm with two sets of Cine Lock quick-release mounting devices. 16x9's upgrade consists of equaling the lengths of the Arm's two arms to be 5" each so they can have stronger holding resistance.
The Cine Arm has three joints - a central one where two arms reach out from, and two ball-joints at the endpoints of the lower and upper arms. The lower endpoint is what the Arm mounts the camera with, and the upper one is what an accessory gets mounted onto.
Thus set up, the two arms can open wide or close in along the central joint, and then, along the lower ball-joint, they can fluidly be moved in any way vertically and horizontally. And thus an accessory can be positioned with precise focus. And then with the tightening of a lever atop the Arm, all three joints lock into place simultaneously.
What the Cine Locks do is make it possible for the arms to snap onto the camera and the accessory, as opposed to being screwed on each time. Each Cine Lock consists of two parts that each attach separately and then lock into each other. At the slide of a pin they unlock and separate from each other. Thus they provide quick-release functionality. The two parts are a burgundy wedge and a gray plate. They each have two different-sized screw-holes via which they either screw onto a stud, or -- by means of included screws -- get fastened to a screw-hole.
As for measurements, the Cine Arm can take on up to 7.2 lb, and its mounting threads are 1/4"-20. - NF1108CA Cine Arm The Noga NF1108CA Cine Arm is composed of 3-joints that can be quickly and efficiently locked or released using a kip lever-based central mechanism. All 3 joints can be simultaneously locked using the single central locking knob. You can use the articulating arm for loads up to 7.2 lb (3.25 kg).
While supporting camera lights and monitors, you can move the arm horizontally or vertically, as well as achieve tilt adjustments to obtain the best possible view. With equal length on both sides, the arm offers increased strength and holding resistance.
You can attach the articulating arm to a wide range of cameras via 1/4"(0.635 cm)-20 top and 1/4"(0.635 cm)-20 bottom screws. The NF1108CA weighs just 0.56 lb (0.25kg) for enhanced portability. - Maximum load capacity - 7.2 lb (3.25 kg)

- Cine Lock Quick Release Mounting Device The 16x9 Cine Lock Quick Release Mounting Device consists of two parts that each attach to separate pieces of equipment and then lock into one another, and at the slide of a pin they unlock and separate from each other. Thus they provide quick-release functionality between cameras and accessories, and can be used with most any 1/4" or 3/8" gear.
The two parts are a burgundy wedge and a gray plate. They each attach onto a piece of equipment regardless of whether the equipment has a stud or a screw-hole as its mounting option. Both parts have to them two different-sized screw-holes. Via one of the two, each part either screws onto a stud, or -- by means of one of three screws that come included with the Cine Lock -- gets fastened to a screw-hole of a piece of equipment. The screw-holes of the wedge and plate are of 1/4" and 3/8" sizes, and the included screws are of the same sizes. - Provides quick-release functionality with most any 1/4" or 3/8" equipment.
- Screws onto a stud or gets fastened into a screw-hole by means of included screws.
- Consists of two components. One slides and locks into the other, and a slide of a pin unlocks them.
