Product description A Guide to Birding with Spotting Scopes Read More uverubtbbbyaavtyetbzzzuydszrtubvqyffs This 40.5mm Digiscoping Adapter from Novagrade is designed to allow digiscoping with an Olympus Stylus TOUGH TG-1, TG-2, TG-3, or TG-4 digital camera.
Use of this Digiscoping Adapter is accomplished by first detaching the removable front decoration ring that is located around an Olympus Stylus TOUGH TG-1, TG-2, TG-3, or TG-4 digital camera's lens. A separately-available Olympus CLA-T01 Lens Adapter can then be substituted for the front decoration ring. The 40.5mm front threads on the CLA-T01 Lens Adapter allow this Digiscoping Adapter to be screwed onto it, and the combination of an Olympus Stylus TOUGH TG-series digital camera, CLA-T01 Lens Adapter, and the Novagrade 40.5mm Digiscoping Adapter is made compatible with spotting scope eyepieces ranging from 39.00mm to 60.75mm in diameter by using one of the six included compression rings.
To use any of the compression rings, the retaining ring on the digiscoping adapter must first be unscrewed. A previously-installed compression ring can then be removed, allowing another compression ring to take its place before the retaining ring is returned to its original position. Each compression ring is constructed from an injection-molded plastic polymer, while the adapter's remaining components feature a lightweight, aluminum-alloy construction that has a corrosion-resistant, black anodized finish for durability. -
