Product description The M300 2-Monolight Kit from Novatron is a great core or starter kit for the studio or on the road. The kit includes 2 M300 monolights, each with a 10' light stand. A 36" diameter octabox and a 24 x 36" softbox with speedrings are also included. Each light has an 18' power cable.The 2 M300s are dependable flash heads with 300Ws of power variable over a 5-stop range and 2.5 second recycling to full power. The lights include a reflector and a user-replaceable modeling light to let you preview the effects of your lighting.The included 24 x 36" softbox is a great all-around utility modifier that's well suited to head and shoulders portraiture and product work. A favorite of fashion shooters, the kit's octabox has a large surface area that displays a signature wrap-around look when used up close as well as rendering natural looking catchlights in your subjects eyes. - M300 Monolight The Novatron M300 Monolight has two power ranges, 300 and 150 w/s of variable power. It features all the same controls found in the Novatron power packs, except the power and modeling light controls are variable. The modeling light switch permits constant full power, or variable with the flash power selection. The M300 also includes an internal, switchable slave triggering device. It comes equipped with a 300 w/s color corrected to 5500°K plug in flashtube and 250 watt modeling light. The mounting bracket attaches to a 3/8" or 5/8" light stand.Novatron's self contained Monolights take all the elements of a power pack, flashhead, and reflector and combine them into one lighting unit that's very easy to set up and transport.
