Product description The V-600D 3-Head Kit with Umbrella and Softbox from Novatron is a versatile 3-point lighting kit for the studio or on the road. The kit includes a 600Ws power pack with four head outlets, three fan-cooled flash heads, two 10' light stands, and a 36" backlight stand. A 43" white umbrella and a 24 x 24" softbox are included to create a flattering, soft quality of light. - 600 W/S Power Pack This is a Novatron V600D 600 watt/second power pack. The Heart of the Novatron system is the power supply. Its function is to take AC line power and store it in a bank of capacitors. This stored energy can be discharged quickly and intensely through one or more flash heads. Novatron produces power supplies in five power ratings: 240, 400, 600, 1000, and 1500 w/s. The smaller power supplies have fewer capacitors and thus are lighter in weight and lower in cost than the more powerful ones.

UPC: 053661099517 - 2103FC Fan-Cooled Bare Tube Lamphead The Novatron 2103FC Fan-Cooled Bare Tube Lamphead is a 3-way switching convertible flash head that contains the controls to independently ratio the flash and modeling lamp at full, -1 stop, or -2 stops. It comes equipped with an internal fan, which aids in cooling electronics and the user replaceable plug-in flashtube. Fan cooling extends the power handling capacity of this lamphead to 1500 watt/seconds. Without the fan in use, the power limit is 1000 watt/seconds. This head also gives the photographer the option of using different reflectors. This head is better for photographers who want more control over their light than what can be achieved with the other lampheads in the Novatron line of quality flash equipment. A power supply for this flash head is required.

- The 2103FC Lamphead can accept the included 2032 6.5" Removable reflector or an optional 16" 2043 reflector.

- 25' cable included. Head extension cables are available in 15 and 25' for heads used at longer distances from the power pack (Longer cable lengths will result in .25 and .3 stop reduction in power, respectively).
