Product description The NDX500 from Numark is a USB/CD media player and software controller that offers the ability to DJ with your entire music library. The unit combines deep hardware and software integration with comprehensive stand alone functionality, allowing for playing and mixing music from any digital audio source. Use the USB flash drive, CDs, and MP3 CDs without a computer connection, or use the built-in audio interface and USB-MIDI mode to interface with DJ software.By using adaptive platter technology that automatically calibrates itself for optimum performance regardless of humidity or environmental changes, the touch-sensitive jog wheel accurately controls scratch, search, and backspin functionality with precision and reliability. Extensive track manipulation is offered through the adjustable start/stop time, creating vinyl-style braking and power-up/down effects. Hot cues create direct access to key points within a song, while the looping section and stutter-start functionality afford a seamless mix foundation for precision transitions. The NDX500 can be connected directly to a computer, offering pre-mapped hardware controls for the optional Serato DJ software, but may be used to control any DJ style software. The built-in USB audio interface allows direct audio playback from a connected Mac or PC, while providing library management and the display of critical information via the back-lit display. The NDX500 ships with a stereo RCA cable, USB cable, and power cord. -
