Product description The NVT Dual 60W EoC Transmission System consists of three NV-EC1701 Transceivers, an NV-PS56-60W Power Supply with a 6’ IEC line cord, one NV-BNCT BNC “T” Adapter, and three NV-PC4PR 3’ 4-pair RJ45 Patch Cords.
Each NV-EC1701 Ethernet over Coax EoC Transceiver is a compact media converter that allows 10/100 BaseT Ethernet and PoE+ power to be transmitted using a coax cable (not included). This transceiver is used in legacy installations where the existing cable is re-deployed as a part of an upgrade to IP cameras. The Class 2 power of 56VDC is delivered to one transceiver, which distributes to multiple remote transceivers and their PoE, PoE+, or high power PoE cameras. The transceiver is simple to use with no IP or MAC addressing required. Status LEDs indicate power and link connectivity/activity for RJ45 and BNC ports.
The NV-PS56-60W Power Supply delivers power to the NV-EC1701 Transceivers. This 56VDC power supply offers an output power of 60W with a 6' IEC line cord.
Each gray 3' 4-Pair RJ45 Patch Cord features two RJ45 plugs and is used with the NV-EC1701 Transceivers.
The BNC "T" Adapter is used for bridging cables and equipment in your setup. It features a male BNC connector on one end and 2 female BNC connectors on the other ends. Note: The distance and number of devices supported may lower because of decrease in power supply capacity and wire voltage. - EoC Ethernet over Coax Transceiver with PoE The EoC Ethernet over Coax Transceiver with PoE from NVT is a compact converter that allows 10/100Base-T Ethernet and PoE power to be transmitted using coax cable. EoC devices are typically used in legacy installations where existing coax is re-deployed as part of an upgrade to IP cameras. Class 2 power of 56 VDC is delivered to one transceiver, which distributes it to up to four remote transceivers (available separately) and their PoE cameras. This transceiver is easy to use with no IP or MAC addressing required. Status LEDs indicate power and link connectivity/activity for RJ45 and BNC ports.
