Product description The NVT NV-442 StubEQ Active Receiver Hub (4 Channels), with adaptive StubEQ fully automatic 2-band equalization, transmits full-motion monochrome or color video for a distance of 1500' (460m) using Cat2 or a better version of UTP cable, when used with any passive NVT transceiver or hub. Using the NV-653T active transmitter, the maximum distance can be extended up to 2000' (600m). The active hub automatically and continuously conditions the video signal, making up for cable attenuation, voltage transient, and ground loops, independent of video signal content. The built-in transient protection and ground-lifting eliminate voltage spikes damage and ground loops respectively. Interference rejection and low emissions allow the video and low voltage power circuits to appear within the same wire bundle, thus allowing the use of shared or existing cable plant. Connected through RJ-45, the receiver hub comes with optional NV-RJ-45A RJ-45-to-screw-terminal adaptors. The NVT NV-442 StubEQ Active Receiver Hub is compatible with analog cameras that have a built-in UTP adaptor as a connection option. However, the hub can also be used with analog cameras without having a built-in adaptor via a commonly available external adaptor. The hub includes "L" brackets for front, rear, or wall installations. - Adaptive StubEQ fully automatic 2-band equalization provides adjustment-free equalization
