Product description The NVT NV-518A allows two channels of video and audio to be transmitted over UTP telephone cable. Along with video and audio, this unit will also convert Coaxitron PTZ control signals for transmission over the same Cat5 wire, eliminating the need to run a separate control cable. In addition to its main amplified UTP port, this unit features a secondary passive UTP port. This auxiliary port can be used to transport bi-directional video or to facilitate one-way video transmission at shorter distances of up to 1000' (300 m). Alternatively, these ports can be combined to allow this unit to act as a repeater. - Up to 2000' (600 m) when used with a passive transceiver
- Built-in transient protection and ground lifting
