Product description The NVT NV-8PS42-PVD Power Supply StubEQ Active Receiver Hub (8-Channel) provides Class 2 SELV 28 VAC power to 8 cameras while receiving video transmission and delivering P/T/Z telemetry, all over a single Cat5 cable per camera. It consolidates all CCTV system cabling using standard EIA/TIA 568B structured building wiring. Supporting camera current loads up to 1Amp/channel, the active receiver hub features built-in distribution amplifier with 2 video outputs per channel. When used with any passive NVT transceiver, the receiver hub allows transmission of full motion CCTV video at distances up to 1500' (460m). The distance can be extended up to 2000' (600m) when used in conjunction with an NV-653T Active Transmitter. The power supply hub features automatic-reset fault protection per channel, transient protection, ground loop free individually floating outputs, and power and video diagnostics. With adaptive StubEQ fully automatic 2-band equalization, the 8-channel receiver hub provides adjustment-free equalization. It ensures a zero loss video signal when connected to a DVR or IP encoder and supports that frequency response ranges from DC to 10MHz. Ideal for use in IDF or telecom closet or MDF or equipment room, the StubEQ Active Receiver Hub is compatible with NV-216A-PV, NV-218A-PVD, or NV-226J-PV transceiver at the camera. It includes diagnostic LEDs, 1U high and 12" deep wall, desk, or rack mount, and 2' (60cm) BNC cable. - Provides Class 2 SELV 28 VAC power to 8 cameras while receiving video transmission and delivering P/T/Z telemetry all over a single Cat5 cable per camera
