Product description The Ultimate 1030Ds Fluid Head & 30L Tripod System from OConnor is a package comprising of the Ultimate 1030D fluid head, 30L carbon fiber tripod, floor spreader, and soft carrying case. The fluid head supports up to 41 lb at 6" center of gravity with a ±60° tilt range. Without the head attached, the carbon fiber tripod adjusts from 22 to 61.8" and folds down to 29.5" for storage and transport. The tripod on its own can support payloads up to 209 lb. The floor spreader holds the tripod legs in position providing system stability. The tripod system packs into the soft carrying case for easy transportation. - Ultimate 1030Ds Fluid Head Package OConnor's Ultimate 1030Ds Fluid Head Package is an updated version of the previous Ultimate 1030Ds Fluid Head Package, with the difference being a change in top platforms. The new package includes a sideload quick release top platform. The previous package was offered with a mini European quick release top platform. The sideload platform affords an extended range of movement for balancing front-heavy setups. The remaining components of the package are: the 1030Ds head with a 100mm ball base, a 100mm tie down for the base, a 12" pan handle, and an 11.5" handle extension. The ball base is compatible with 100mm tripod bowls and is interchangeable for optional 1030-compatible 150mm bases and with Mitchell flat bases. The handle has a 30° bend.
The head features a +/- 60° tilt range and within this range supports payloads of 53 lbs at 4" above the platform, 41 lbs at 6", and 33 lbs at 8". Tilt drag is stepless. Counterbalance reaches all the way down to zero, useful for lighter cameras. Counterbalance adjusts by a crank-style control that pulls out of the rear of the head. Pan and tilt unlock through a single-handed squeeze. The package is compatible with many 1030 accessories. -

30L Two-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod Legs (100mm Bowl, Standard) The OConnor 30L Two-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod is designed to work with tripod heads that have a 100mm ball, such as OConnor's 1030D and 1030Ds. The legs weigh just under 9 pounds, yet can support a payload of up to 209 pounds, and extend from a minimum height of 22" to a maximum height of 62" when using a mid-level spreader (available separately).
Each leg extends or retracts independently, and when detached from a spreader each leg can pivot without affecting the other legs. This is especially useful when working on rough or uneven terrain. The dual spikes at the end of each leg provide extra grip when working on softer ground.
The OConnor 30L's legs feature lever locks for quick and secure clamping. The tripod also incorporates a carrying handle in its design. These features simplify transporting the 30L legs to or from a shoot. Features - Dual-stage, carbon fiber, 100mm bowl tripod
