The Octopus.Camera OctoPad Universal Tripod Base With Ball Head is a support system that you lay down onto a surface and it provides a stable platform for mounting your camera and accessories weighing up to five lb. The OctoPad can also be used to support small light fixtures as well as audio gear, using the built-in 1/4"-20 threaded mounting stud or the included ball-joint head.
Made from Cordura and neoprene, it is filled with aggregate and stainless-steel shot that provide both weight and stability, and incorporates a proprietary anti-slip material on the bottom. A cable management strap helps keep any cables connected to your camera, mic, or light organized, while the grommeted tab allows you to safely secure the OctoPad. - It supports up to 5 lb at up to 6" above the OctoPad.
- The crushed aggregate (stone) and stainless-steel shot that fill the OctoPad provide weight and stability, while allowing some measure of flexibility to help it conform to uneven surfaces.
- The Cordura and neoprene construction provide a wear-resistant base, while the proprietary anti-slip material on the underside of the base helps keep the OctoPad from slipping when placed on most surfaces.
