Product description Print large without taking up too much space in your office with the C831dn Color Laser Printer from OKI. It can handle tabloid/A3-size documents with ease and can even produce long banners up to 11.7 x 52" in size and custom items as small as 2.5 x 3.5". Using HD Color and Single Pass Color technologies, users will be able to create sharp prints at 1200 x 600 dpi with rich colors using a wide variety of media types. Also, the printer is quite fast as it is able to reach 35 ppm with letter/A4-sized documents and 20 ppm with tabloid/A3-sized media. This model even comes standard with automatic duplex printing.
Media is handled through the 100-sheet multipurpose tray, or a 300-sheet standard input tray, allowing users to have multiple media types or sizes at the ready without needing to physically swap out paper. There are many other features built into the C831dn printer as well, including a variety of print job accounting techniques and security options. Additionally, it offers a monthly duty cycle of 75,000 pages and comes standard with both USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity. - HD Color Printing Technology will provide colors with rich color and sharp details.
- Single Pass Color provides the ability to work with media up to 256 gsm.
- Print speeds can reach up to 35 ppm with letter/A4-size media and up to 20 ppm with tabloid/A3-size media.
- Automatic duplex printing is possible at up to 27 ppm.
- Front panel features an LCD display along with buttons and an alphanumeric keypad.
- Saves energy and reduces waste with deep sleep mode, an auto-off mode, and a toner save function.
- Users have easy access to the black toner cartridge.
- Print Job Accounting will help users track color/monochrome pages by individual or department, controls color printing access, and offers support for Active Directories.
- Optional paper trays can be used to increase capacity to 1460 sheets.
- Secure Print features, including encryption of job data, PIN-number protection, secure erase and auto delete time out, and more are available through an optional SD memory card kit. Network Security includes IPv6 address filtering, MAC address filtering, SNMPv3, SSL/TLS HTTPS encryption, IPP over SSL/TLS, e-mail authentication, and protocol lockouts.
