Product description Inspired by the success of its S1 pocket flashlight, Olight offers the H1 Nova Headlamp, featuring a bright 500-lumen maximum output and a versatile design that permits the light to be used as a handheld flashlight or an area lamp. The H1 Nova's cool white Cree XM-L2 LED shines at five brightness settings, from moonlight to turbo. Its aluminum alloy housing is durable but lightweight — the lamp weighs less than 2 ounces, not counting the included CR123A battery that supplies its power. Runtimes range from the three-minute burst of 500-lumen turbo to 15 days at the 2-lumen moonlight setting. There's a lockout feature that prevents the light from being accidentally activated in your pocket or bag, and the light has an SOS mode that can signal distress for up to six hours. The light is designed to come on and off gradually to help preserve your night-acclimated vision. The lamp can be removed from its housing and used as a flashlight with a right-angle beam. The tailcap of the light is magnetized so you can hang it on any metal surface, such as the inside of a car hood, when a stationary hands-free light source is preferable to the headlamp. Attach the pocket clip and you have a compact and highly capable everyday carry flashlight. The H1 Nova can stand up to the weather, too; it's rated IPX8 waterproof, capable of being submerged 6.6 feet deep, as well as impact-resistant to 5 feet. - Modes
