Product description Olight developed their M23 Javelot Black Bezel LED Flashlight for tactical professionals who require a compact yet powerful EDC illumination tool. Its CREE XP-L LED produces outputs from a low 20-lumen to a darkness-piercing 1020 lumen high. The low output is ideal for performing tasks such as reading, while the high output allows for lighting and searching large areas. Because of the heat generated from the high output, thermal regulation circuitry automatically steps down the output from 1020 to 600 lumens after five minutes to protect the light from heat damage. Complimenting the outputs is a disorientating strobe mode. All outputs are controlled from a single pushbutton tailcap switch for simple activation with momentary and constant-on modes available.Built to withstand the rigors of daily duty, the M23 features a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy housing with a corrosion and scratch-resistant Type III hard anodized finish. The emitter window is made of scratch and impact-resistant tempered glass with anti-reflection coatings on both sides to maximize light transmission. Protecting the window and bezel is a black anodized stainless steel retainer ring. The housing is impact-resistant to 5' and O-ring sealed to provide an IPX8 rating, making it waterproof and submersible to a depth of 6.6'. A removable handle ring can be mounted to help facilitate various tactical light/pistol grip techniques. The M23 can run on one user-supplied 18650 rechargeable or two CR123A disposable batteries. - Performance
