Product description A Guide to Birding with Spotting Scopes Read More Olivon's angled-viewing T-900ED Mark II 22-68x90 Spotting Scope provides an ideal platform for observation or digiscoping, with excellent low-light performance. The large objective is made of extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, which is used to correct chromatic aberration and eliminate off-axis comas to produce true color fidelity. The use of ED glass, combined with the large objective diameter and a multi-coated optical system, produces clear and sharp images with true color transmission. This optical performance complements the included 22-68x zoom eyepiece to give users a versatile observation platform. Adding to the scope's versatility is its ability to accept most 2"- and 1.25"-barrel-diameter eyepieces—astronomical or terrestrial, zoom, or fixed focal length.The eyepiece is set at a 45° angle to the optical tube for enhanced viewing comfort, with a 360° rotating tripod collar that allows the eyepiece to be put in the perfect position whether the user is standing, sitting, or lying down. For mounting options there is an integrated tripod shoe that fits many quick release plates, with the additional option of dual 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounts to directly attach to a tripod. The aluminum-alloy chassis sports rubber armoring to protect the exterior from potential damage due to drops and impacts, and the optical tube is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be fogproof and waterproof. The combination of performance and construction makes the T-900ED usable in most environments and weather conditions. - Optical Performance
