Product description The EX-25 Extension Tube from Olympus is a 25mm extension tube to be placed between the lens and the camera body to allow a greater range of magnification for close-up photographs. It is designed exclusively for use with Olympus Four Thirds single-lens-reflex digital cameras. By moving the lens 25mm farther away from the camera's sensor, the minimum focusing distance is shortened allowing for closer shooting distances. This is ideal for shooting macro photographs of butterflies, flowers or product items. - Employs dust-proof, drip-proof construction
- When the EX-25 is used in combination with the ED-50mm f/2.0 MACRO lens, pictures can be taken at close to 1:1 magnification (0.98x). (Equivalent to 2:1 magnification with 35mm film cameras.)
