Product description Benefit from a better hold and increased shooting time with your OM-D E-M5 Mark II Camera, thanks to this HLD-8 Power Battery Holder from Olympus. This kit provides you with the HLD-8G L-shaped, ergonomic, external hand grip and the HLD-6P battery grip.
The HLD-8G features an alternate shutter release button and a headphone jack for audio playback, as well as contacts and a locking dial for secure connection to the camera. The HLD-6P accepts an extra BLN-1 battery. You can choose which battery to use first and the camera will start using the second one automatically once the first is drained. The HLD-6P also offers a vertical-shooting shutter release and a control dial, along with a function lever and two function buttons. These buttons can be programmed independently of those on the E-M5 Mk II. Additionally, a DC-IN jack on the HLD-6P accepts the AC-3 AC adapter to power the camera continuously for long-term use.
Both units are molded for a comfortable hold. These two grips can be used together with or without the optional GS-5 Grip Strap, and the HLD-6P can also be detached to allow you to use the hand grip alone. The two grips together and the HLD-8G alone are dust and splashproof to protect against the elements.
