The E-M5 Mark II is a Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera featuring a 16MP Live MOS sensor and TruePic VII image processor to realize clear image quality, high sensitivity to ISO 25600, and fast performance to avail shooting at up to 10 fps as well as Full HD 1080p video recording at up to 60 fps. Balancing the imaging capabilities is an apt sensor-shift-type 5-axis VCM image stabilization system that compensates for a range of camera movements to better ensure sharp imagery when shooting handheld. The sleek, DSLR-inspired form factor is characterized by both a high-resolution 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder as well as swiveling 3.0" 1.037m-dot rear touchscreen monitor, and built-in Wi-Fi permits wireless image sharing and remote camera control via a linked smartphone or tablet. Additionally, the body is also weather-sealed for use in trying conditions.
Included with the camera body is the M.Zuiko ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO lens, which offers a 24-80mm equivalent focal length range to cover wide-angle to short telephoto focal lengths. The advanced optical design of this lens incorporates one aspherical ED element, two aspherical elements, one double-sided aspherical element, two extra-low dispersion elements, one HD element, and two high-refractive index elements; all of which combine to reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations in order to gain greater sharpness, resolution, and clarity. The black Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera combines a 16MP Live MOS sensor with a TruePic VII Image Processor for increased performance speed and reduced noise throughout the ISO range as compared to TruePic VI. The Mark II also improves upon its predecessor by utilizing a 5-axis VCM Image Stabilization that provides up to 5 stops of compensation. Full HD 1080p video recording is now available on the Mark II with a higher bitrate of up to 77 Mb/s and various codecs. Built into the E-M5 Mark II is a unique feature that utilizes sensor shift to produce a 40MP image by combining 8 images in-camera.
The camera's fully articulated 3" touchscreen LCD monitor makes taking self portraits easy, and the built-in WiFi lets you quickly share your images. When not using the LDC monitor for live view, the 2,360k-dot EVF provides a virtually lag-free view with a 1.48x magnification. - Superior Image Quality

Olympus' TruePic VII image-processing engine improves image quality in low-light environments.
