Product description Capture stunning photos and full HD 1080p video at depths as great as 148' with your Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera, thanks to this PT-EP08 Underwater Housing. Dual fiber-optic ports give you the ability to connect an optional UFL-1 strobe or two via the PTCB-E02 cable(s). Using the FL-LM2 removable flash included with the camera, you can wirelessly control the optional, dedicated UFL-2 underwater flash. The accessory shoe located on top of the housing permits the attachment of a lighting arm or mounting base for a strobe.
Mechanical controls enable access to virtually all camera functions. Take advantage of the E-M5's Underwater Macro and Wide shooting modes, which get you closer to your subjects to reduce distortion for better image quality. The housing is constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant polycarbonate, which is black on the front, top, and sides, but clear on the back to allow you to monitor the waterproof seal and camera. The housing ships without a required lens port, and features a bayonet mount that accepts a series of interchangeable glass ports for various lenses. Adding the optional PAD-EP08 Port Extension Adapter allows you to attach the PPO-EP01, PPO-E01, PPO-E02, PPO-E03, and PPO-E04 ports to accommodate Four Thirds lenses. Wide-angle lenses increase your angle of coverage, allowing you to get close to your subject while fitting more in the frame, while macro lenses will enable extreme close-up shots. Both types of optics cut down on distortion caused by the water, thus improving clarity for better image quality. - Construction Details

- 14-42mm requires PPZR-EP01 zoom gear, while 14-42mm II / IIR and 9-18mm all require PPZR-EP02 zoom gear
- When you use optional Macro Lens Adapter PMLA-EP01, you can add Underwater Macro Conversion Lens PTMC-01, which has a 67mm filter thread diameter
- With optional Port Adapter PAD-EP08 and Port Extension Ring PER-E01, you can use other underwater ports
- Port PPO-E04 accommodates ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye
- PPO-E01 fits 35mm f/3.5 Macro (requires Four Thirds Adapter MMF-3)
- PPO-E03 fits ED 50mm f/2 Macro
