Product description The silver WS-852 from Olympus is a digital voice recorder with two directional microphones positioned at a 90° layout for capturing audio. Recognized for its clear audio quality and superb operability, the WS-852 features the intelligent Auto Mode which automatically adjusts the recording level to match the volume of the sound source. The digital voice recorder is powered by two AAA dry-cell batteries (model LR03) or two Olympus nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries. Some other features include a built-in stand to prevent surface vibrations and a direct USB computer connection to conveniently save your data . The recorder displays only the necessary information in Simple Mode and supports beginners by limiting the functions in the menu to those which are frequently used. When recordings contain multiple speakers, the Voice Balancer makes softer voices louder and ensures that louder voices stay below a given threshold. This provides playback where everyone can be heard clearly. In conclusion, users can rely on the WS-852 recorder for over 1,000 hours of recording time, over 100 hours of battery life, file searching capabilities, and a noise-cancellation feature that provides clear playback quality. There is 4GB of internal memory, and there's also a microSDHC slot for memory cards up to 32GB.
