Product description The OmiCam is designed in an optimal form to be used when clipped onto a backpack strap, baseball cap, pocket, or pretty much anything else via the integrated clip. It can also be used handheld without any additional grip attached. A major feature of this camera is the ability to capture up to 15 hours of your activities throughout the day in intervals, in a POV view, providing you with a first-person visual summary of your day in spherical VR; to that end, the camera's lens is tilted forward at a 45° angle, which is ideal for wearable POV recording.
The OmiCam features a 12MP image sensor and 240° fisheye lens, and it allows you to capture Ultra HD 4K, 2.5K, and Full HD 1080p resolution video at 30 fps as well as 4320 x 2160-resolution photos in an expansive, ultra-wide angle. Using the built-in battery, it records 4K video for up to 70 minutes or up to 15 hours of video in Lifelog mode – the interval recording feature mentioned above. Lifelog mode records a 5-second video clip every 3 minutes, while also allowing you to press the record button at any time to manually continue recording. A built-in mic will at the same time record the audio of your adventures.
Any way you use the camera, whether clipped on, handheld, or otherwise mounted, built-in Horizontal Movement Stabilization and E-Gimbal Stabilization, two major features of the OmiCam, will smooth out and horizontally level your footage, so you can have presentable videos to share. For mounting the camera, a stand mount is included for desktop use; a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole is available on the bottom for attaching to tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks; and a variety of mounting accessories is available sold separately by OMI for securing onto bikes, snowboards, pets, and more.
For Lifelog recording, you can use the camera as is, but when used for standard video recording, the OmiCam syncs up to an included OMI Studio app, compatible with iOS and Android, over built-in Wi-Fi. The app is a fully integrated video management and editing solution in one. It allows you to preview and monitor your shots, record videos and take photos, and stream video live to destinations like Facebook Live. It also lets you make edits to your videos. You can select a theme and add text, graphics, and music. Moreover, OMI Studio offers a One-Touch Highlight Video editing feature that will automatically transform hours of footage into a short video. It will pick short clips from designated footage and provide you with a summary clip in spherical VR, and you can make further edits to the summary clip manually.
The OmiCam is lightweight – only a few ounces – and rain-, splash-, and dust-resistant. An optional waterproof case is available from OMI for taking the OmiCam underwater. - Key Features
