Product description The black melamine Coda EX Mixing and Digital Editing Workstation Desk by Omnirax is an expanded version of the Coda desk and provides an ergonomic environment for digital mixing and editing. Created for larger DAW control surfaces and peripherals, the EX was designed to place the engineer, producer or musician in the optimal working location, with the reinforced angled monitor bridge positioning the nearfields and up to 2 computer monitors directly where they can be seen and heard properly.
Perched atop the Coda EX monitor bridge is space for nearfield studio speakers and room for up to 2 video monitors. Below and in front of the bridge is adequate room for an expanded DAW controller setup. An adjustable sliding keyboard and mouse shelf is located below (or in front of the desk when extended outwards). Underneath are 18 rack spaces for associated peripherals in the double bay. Additional space under the EX is available for the system CPU. The workstation features heavy-duty casters for mobility and ease of cabling. - A DAW controller fits on desk at correct working height
