Product description The black melamine Omnirax ProStation Audio-Video Editing Workstation is an expansive production console designed to create an optimal working environment for Avid Audio's ProTools multitrack hard disk recording system and associated peripherals. The ProStation was specifically designed to rackmount ProTools to provide adequate ventilation and to place cabling neatly out of sight.
Its two lower bays are slightly over 28" deep, one with 14 spaces, and the other with 8 spaces. The workstation includes a sliding shelf for the computer which allows easy access for reaching switches and changing hardware configurations. The ProStation has room on top for the positioning of nearfield monitors, and its wide cutaway center span holds any video monitor up to 31" wide. The cutaway span has been engineered to position the monitor at the correct height and distance for healthy and comfortable viewing. An ergonomically designed 8-space bridge is included for additional rackmount modules, nearfield monitors and a video monitor.
The included KMS3 sliding keyboard shelf is wide enough for an extended keyboard plus a mouse and can be positioned out of the way when not required, and directly positioned front and center when in use. The ProStation provides over 28" of leg-space under the console and utilizes heavy-duty casters for mobility and easy cabling.
