Product description The On-Stage MSA-9508 is a side mini-boom measuring 7" in length. This side boom is designed for those hard to reach places, which makes it quite suitable for drum or instrument miking in confined spaces. It attaches to most round stands by means of its clutch; this clutch utilizes a nylon-tipped tightening screw that provides security without marring the accompanying shaft.
The MSA-9508 sports a patented Posi-Lok design for angle adjustment, one that provides two disks, each with 52 teeth to ensure the boom remains locked after it's set in place by the round, ergonomic knob. The Posi-Lok design rotates 300°. A standard 5/8"-27 thread at the end of the boom accepts most standard mic clips.
