Product description The On-Stage SB96+ is a microphone stand suitable for use in studio applications. It sports four folding legs that lock in place, though when they don't, they sit upon casters, so you can easily roll the stand around your studio as need be. The main shaft of the stand extends from 45 to 76", giving you plenty of height—and that's without the telescoping boom, which can range between 43 and 79".
This boom utilizes a solid steel counterweight, as well as a 40-teeth clutch that fights against slippage. At the end of this boom sits—you guessed it—another boom, this one giving you 7" of range. This mini-boom has a Posi-lok clutch, and as such, adjusts handily to any microphone position. When you need to take the stand with you, it'll fold down, making it easily transportable.
