Product description A tweaked version of One Control’s Strawberry Red Overdrive, the Cranberry Overdrive is a distortion pedal intended for use with electric guitar. Its relatively simple controls—Volume, Treble, and Drive—facilitate the implementation of smooth lead sounds, crunchy rhythm timbres, and various other sounds ideal for rock and hard-rock genres. Differentiating this pedal from the Strawberry is a low-cut trim pot on the side of the unit that filters out frequencies at the bottom end of the spectrum. This control, combined with the Treble knob, gives you the means to tailor your overall tone to best suit the material you’re playing.The Volume and Drive knobs work in concert, as they do on many other overdrive pedals, to facilitate the fine-tuning of the ratio between distortion and level. Together, these knobs can be used practically, giving you the right boost and harmonic distortion for a solo, or in a more creative manner, imparting a distinctive edge upon your signal—particularly useful in modern jazz scenarios, for instance.Measuring 1.9 x 3.9”, the pedal is relatively compact, and will take up less space on your pedalboard than similar overdrive effects. It accepts a 9V battery and employs a housing of aluminum to promote durability. Also, true bypass switching will ensure that your tone stays pristine and unaffected when the pedal is disengaged. - Features at a Glance
