Product description The Crimson Red Bass Amp from One Control is a preamp designed for electric basses and packed into a relatively small pedal enclosure, at 1.9 x 3.9 x 1.8". It features three controls: a Volume knob for overall level, a Brilliance knob to determine how much treble you want to introduce into the sound, and a Gain knob, which serves as a level booster driving the output volume stage.In terms of tone, the pedal is quite adept at providing the low, fat bottom end characteristic of 60s and 70s funk bass timbres, giving you sounds also appropriate for fusion, Latin music, reggae, and more. Indeed, it was designed to reproduce the sound of vintage electric bass, reproducing the sound of a setup terminating in a 15 or 18” cabinet.The pedal provides I/O for a mono signal—one 1/4" instrument input jack and one 1/4” output jack. Its casing is an aluminum enclosure designed for durability. It’s designed to run off one 9V battery, though it also accepts power from a standard 9VDC adapter.
