Product description The Mosquite Blender Expressio from OneControl is a compact signal mixer capable of blending a send/return loop with the input signal. It is designed to provide an effects loop, with simple dry-to-wet level balancing, for guitarists, bassists, and keyboardists. The Expressio offers all of the features found on the standard Mosquite Blender, plus a 1/4" expression pedal input. Connect an expression pedal to perform hands-free dry/wet mixing. When the Mosquite Blender Expressio is bypassed, the input signal is routed to the output jack. Once activated, the pedal will route the input to the send jack, and the return signal to the output jack. Traditionally, effects send/return loopers only toggle between dry and wet signals. The Mosquite Blender Expressio features a Blend knob that allows a combination of dry and wet signals. The Blend control will be bypassed if an expression pedal is connected. Connect an overdrive pedal in the effects loop, then adjust the Blend knob to dial in the perfect amount of grit. If a compressor is set up in the effects loop, the Blend control allows easy parallel compression. The polarity switch inverts the polarity of the effects loop, providing a method for achieving phasing effects. The stompbox can function as a mute switch if only the input and output are connected.The Mosquite Blender Expressio features a BJF Buffer switch to enable standard or true bypass functionality. The pedal is powered via a 9 VDC power supply (available separately). -
