Product description Armed with a switchable buffer circuit designed by Bjorn Juhl to preserve tone, the OneControl Mosquite Blender is a utilitarian unit useful for many shoegazing guitarists. It accepts pedals or even whole effects loops, and provides a prominent wet/dry knob so you can blend in just the amount of effect that you need. A polarity switch is also on hand to flip the phase of the incoming signal, which has all sorts of practical and creative implications. This pedal has a 1/4" instrument I/O as well as a send and return I/O. It accepts power from 9V power sources. Possible Uses for the Mosquite Blender - True Bypass
- When the blend knob is turned all the way up, the Mosquite Blender can be used as a one-channel true bypass looper. Great for vintage Fuzz and Wah that you don't want in your signal chain when they aren't being used.
- Clarity
- The Mosquite Blender is great for cleaning up your signal to have more definition. For players who use overdrive but want to retain tonal definition, you can blend in some clean signal in order to obtain the single note definition you are looking for.
- Low-End Retention
- The Mosquite Blender can be used for electric-bass pedals to cut out low end or round out attack. Blend in your clean signal to have thicker sounding low end on your bass or, have crisper tighter attack when using a compressor.
