Product description The Persian Green Screamer from OneControl is a BJF Series overdrive pedal designed to offer overdrive sounds inspired by the iconic TS-808 tube screamer, great for rock, blues, and alternative guitarists. It integrates a dual op-amp and symmetrical diode clipping, providing tones beyond those available on a typical tube screamer. Its switchable distortion mode allows quick flipping between classic and modern overdrives.The pedal’s Vintage mode yields midrange-heavy overdrive similar to that of a tube screamer. Flip the switch to Modern for more transparent, balanced, and responsive overdrive. Simple controls allow for quick tonal adjustment. Set the desired amount of distortion using the Drive knob. Then, balance the output volume via the Level control. The Tone circuit, only active in Modern mode, offers gentle tailoring of the overdrive’s brightness. For boost, rather than overdrive, turn the Drive fully counterclockwise and the Level fully clockwise.Like all BJF Series pedals, the Persian Green Screamer features an aluminum enclosure and true bypass switching. Power can be supplied from a 9V battery or 9 VDC power supply (both available separately). The pedal will yield increased headroom and less gain when a high-voltage power supply (18V maximum) is used. -
