Product description The Prussian Brue Reverb Pedal from One Control is a relatively small pedal. Its enclosure measures only 1.9 x 3.9” and houses a natural and responsive reverberation effect quite suitable for solos, comping, and other modes of electric guitar playing. Three knobs are provided to control the signal: Level, Tone, and Decay.The quality of the reverb is neither hall, spring, or room, but rather, a digital amalgam that emulates aspects of all three processes to better engender a more natural ambiance or texture. With an adjustable decay range of between two milliseconds and two seconds, you can achieve spatial tones reminiscent of all three aforementioned reverbs. However, even though the pedal provides this decay knob, the Prussian Blue achieves a naturalistic sense of space by employing a quasi-random modulation to the signal’s decay, in that the modulation is programmed to operate within a manner that mimic’s the way your guitar’s strings vibrate when plucked. Thus, it reacts more dynamically to the notes you play. This randomized effect will imitate sonic distribution throughout a space, even though the signal is mono.An added pre-delay ensures the natural enveloping of the reverb into the mix of the music, never overpowering your original notes. A kill/dry switch on the side will mute the dry signal altogether, allowing you to use the effect with parallel effects loops, or even in mixing situations. This pedal does employ a 24-bit digital chip, but provides an analog dry path so your unaffected signal preserves its tonal integrity. The unit accepts a 9V battery and employs a machined aluminum housing to promote durability.
